Menu font sizes

Hi all

I'm new to this list and a basic question to start with.

I'm (literally) just started with Netbeans on a Linux (Ubuntu) platform. I have some problems with eyesight and would like to increase the font size of the menus. I've done this successfully with the desktop fonts in Ubuntu but for some reason these larger fonts aren't being used in Netbeans. Can anyone help here?

The fonts I need enlarging are the menu fonts - not the fonts used for the code inside the editor - which I've maanged to change in Tools, Options.

Try to launch the ide using --fontsize 16 option.
