Hello.

I have installed the new NetBeans 7.2 and I wanted to follow the tutorial "Video of the Static Code Analysis Feature in the NetBeans IDE" at http://netbeans.org/kb/docs/java/code-inspect-screencast.html

Following this tutorial, I select a Java project, I choose the menu Source->Inspect, then I am invited to click on Install to get the missing plugin FindBugs Integration. The version 1.14 is proposed. I accept the license, then I click Next, I see that NetBeans is establishing a connection, and it begins downloading FindBugs Library Wrapper... and stays blocked at 1% until time out ! [Evil or Very Mad]

This problem arises also when I try to install FindBugs through the Menu Tools->Plugins and I select it in the Available Plugins tab.

Same problem both on Linux and on Vista.

Is there another way to get and install this plugin ?

Thank you for your help.

Richard.

Sorry, I don't have a solution for you - I had no problem doing the same steps a month or so ago. Perhaps the plugin server is "down" or you're behind a proxy that doesn't allow it? Can you download other plugins without problem? Just a thought.
