Hi everyone,

I've been waiting for NB 7.2 because of the native SVN 1.7 client. Although it is stated in bold in many places the internal svn client (SVNKit) is refusing to work with 1.7 repos. I had to install TortoiseSVN and use its binaries externally.

How can I get the internal client working?

Many thanks,
Hi,
as far as i know, SVNKit in 7.2 works fine with 1.7 working copies.
Maybe you're not using SVNKit but another kind of client: Tools ->
Options -> Misc -> Versioning -> Subversion | Preferred client field.
If it doesn't help i suggest you describe the error you're getting, it's
hard to guess what might be wrong without any information.

Hi Ondrej,

When I convert it from "CLI" (tortoiseSVN latest) to "SvnKit" I have two errors following in this order:

1st popup:

org.apache.subversion.javahl.ClientException: E200030: Invalid expression

2nd popup:

It seems that the working copy rooted at <... path ...> was created with a newer client than the one used in the IDE.
Please upgrade your SVN client to 1.7.0 or higher.

I am using the stock NB ml package. It looks to me the native client is simply 1.6 compliant.
The repo is working perfectly with CLI option and also from command line.
Everything runs within Win7 and I only have the TortoiseSVN as an SVN client.

Thanks
You should file a bug against versioncontrol/Subversion
(http://netbeans.org/bugzilla/enter_bug.cgi?product=versioncontrol&component=Subversion)
and attach the messages.log with both the errors
(http://wiki.netbeans.org/FaqLogMessagesFile).
I can help you more when i analyze the stacktraces and error messages.
