Matisse in 8.01

I was wondering if anyone could help me with a problem. I keep running into discrepancies between what Matisse shows and what the actual runtime component will look like.

In some cases lined up components will display staggered , while staggered components then display fine.

For example consider the attached screen-shot. On top what Matisse shows and on the bottom what the top component looks like at run-time. And I've had even more bizarre results in one case no two components lined up at design but perfect at run-time.

However this is torturous to design as you have to keep running things and adjusting a pixel or two in design and running again over and over till everything lines up is very time consuming.

So I'm hoping someone here had any hints or information as to why this might be happening.

Maybe there is a different Look and Feel in your running program than is
shown in the GUI Designer in NetBeans?

Notice the components in your screenshot are different sizes? That's
important. There is more to layout than where you put something. There's
also "how to behave when more space becomes available". It seems clear that
you didn't manage to express your resizing intentions properly.

That said, I can't help you with that particular problem as I don't use the
visual designer :)
