Folks,

Does anybody know of one/any of these? At the moment we have to resort to
eclipse (3.4.5) when we need to to use SWT (Standard Widget Toolkit).

Did you try the Eclipse project importer? Otherwise just setup the
proper library paths and an SWT program should work just fine.

If your doing Eclipse plug-in development with SWT than likely you
should really stay within Eclipse.

Good luck.

Thanks for you answers.
Colleague of mine was actually after an SWT designer. Further
investigation suggests SWT is a 'dirty' word in the NetBeans world. He
is persevering with Eclipse for this project.

Thanks for for help.

Regards
Nick

Here's the list of all plugins available in NB http://plugins.netbeans.org/PluginPortal/faces/MainPage.jsp
If the plugin you're looking for isn't listed Can you please file an entry for this at: http://www.netbeans.org/issues
If it's your first time using the system, you should first
register. After that, comes to this mailing list and paste
that issue's link to have people vote for it. The number of votes will
set the priority of its implementation. Thanks

Hi,
We can add the swt-xxx.jar file to libraries and the swt-xxx.dll files in
java.library.path and then develop SWT applications in NetBeans. I can send
you a sample application (around 2.5MB) if you need one.

with regards
Tushar
